Warrock: Cqc for Dummies

Cqc For Dummies :From a Reliable source.....
I won't bore you, so lets get right to the tips.

1. Play dead :
If you're doing somthing that you feel unsafe doing, such as healing, planting or defusing a bomb, go prone (lay down, for those who don't know) and look directly down. It will show you with your head sticking into the ground, as if you're dead. It fools most noobs, and even some more advanced players. Th only con about this is that you cannot see your surroundings.
2. Watch ladders:

This tip is especally good for snipers, but may also help other classes. On a few maps (A good example is marien), as you start the round, get to a covered position (Not one you stick out like a sore thumb with), and watch the ladders. If you see an enemy, pop their head off. Simple. You may be thinking "Well, no dip, sherlock.", however, this is still a good tip, as your enemies are weakest when they cannot shoot back, as on ladders.
3. Grenades:

Never waste your grenades. A good idea of where nades are overused is chucking grenades down Marien Hall. Usually, you just waste them, and you end up without them when you know you need them.
So, you're asking when is a good time to throw a grenade. A good time is when you:
A) Know an enemy/multipule enemies are in a tight space in a map, where it's kind of hard to escape, and you want to clear them out without combat.
B)When you saw an enemy run one way, but he's somewhat far away and behind a wall where you can't see him.

C) When you're in a gunfight, but your enemy retreats behind somthing to reload/hide. Toss a nade where you think he might be. Anyone want roasted human bits for dinner tonight?

4. Aim at the chest or head level, never below the stomach.
5. When to reload, when to pull out another weapon. This will tell you when to pull out a subarm, or a 5th/8th/3rd slot gun, or to reload.
Reload when..

You are a fairly long distance from the enemy, and you can easily find cover to reload and then pop back out and kill him.
Pull out another weapon when...
You are very close to the enemy, and you'd eaily get shredded up while reloading.
When facing multipule enemies
When you may loose your enemy if you retreat to reload

6.Leaning is good. Lean around everything. Q lean left, E lean right.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Individual Class Tips
Medic:
- Never rush into a bunch of enemies to heal someone
- If your friendly won't let you heal him, just forget about it. It's more of his loss. (You may have differant opinions about this, and I don't want to hear them)
- If you're healing yourself, stick your head into the ground if you feel dangered, as said earlier.
Sniper :

- If you want to countersnipe, find a good, concealed position and pick off your enemies.
- Never, ever snipe from sniper perches except on Khali. One nade, you're toast. And everyone knows where you would be anyway.
- If you want to camp, run around from place to place. Fool your enemy.
- As with any class, listening to footsteps are critical. But, its on terms of life or death for a sniper.

Heavy Trooper :
- Know a sniper camping by a ladder, waiting for you to come up and shoot you? Pull our your RPG, launch it to around the wall you think he's up against, and let the splash damage do the rest.
FROM ANOTHER UNIQUE SOURCE:

1. try and make sure to get the first shot, or almost all the time you lost, unless he's far away.
2. simple, but use a hit indicator
3. If you're rushing, on purpose go a random way, without thinking about it. it fools you, it fools your enemy. (this is for rushing...)
4. Never plant unless you have more people on your team left than they do. If they have more people, try and pick a few people off and make it even then plant.
5. if it's 1 on 1, take your time and camp. They only need to see one person and follow that one person and get you before you known they know where you are. Plant only on one on one if you need to (debaren side only)
6. If someone plants and you can;t find him around the area. Keep looking. It's worth the loss if it doesn;t come to a death on your k/d r.
7. Look where the other team goes for the first 1 or 2 rounds. maybe 3 by camping. If there is a spot they don;t go, go to that spot, still cautiously though. Then get them from behind if you get a chance to.
8. If you have a gun that is bad at far range, don't try to pick off that certain person from far away, because if he has a gun that is better for far range, he'll beat you out if he is any smart.
9. if you are doing bad as what class you are using, try a different one. Even if you don;t like that class, you may do better as it. ex. i'm normally medic and i switch to assault when needed, which i had to yesterday with friend, then started pwning them.
9B:People don't realise it but people like guns depending on their tactics. People switch tactics once in a while and start doing bad. Depending on the way you play, is how you pick your gun.
10. Don't base camp, it's too obvious that you're trapped and they can take their time. Try camping by the base where you can hit them when they go to look in your base.

MY PERSONAL GUIDE:
If you got good communication with your team, don't be afraid to plant the bomb. If you guys cooperate well, you can easily get the NIUs that rush the bomb in 45 seconds.
-Try not to camp in the bomb all the time. Hide in an area near the bomb where you can still see the bomb. Once you see someone trying to defuse, RPG (or any other weapon of your choice) them in the face.
-Save stamina. If there's no one around, there's no need to run. You need the stamina for dodging and rolling during gun figts, which can happen at any time.
-Find new snipe spots. It's something I'm guilty of not doing. Everyone always looks at the typical spots (Marien: Ramp, boards, snipe/windows, derb arches, the usual...)
-Use smoke nades! You may think I'm crazy... However, I'm not! Well what am I talking about? When someone is camping on Marien Derb Sniper, toss a smoke grenade up there. Most people will think it is a real grenade and roll off. It is a good way to save grenades.
-Have fun! !!Frustration screw up your skills. Just relax, and you'll do a LOT better! It works better than you think.
